Breast Cancer Awareness Program

October is breast cancer awareness month. The Lovely Ladies of P.A.A.W.S. spent Wednesdays in the union distributing information received from the American Cancer Society and encouraging all the FSU students to perform self examinations. Pink ribbons were proudly displayed on the shirts, book bags, and purses of members.

The Annual Halloween Howl

Every year the Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science  holds an evening of activities and haunted trails to provide a safe place for children to go on the Halloween weekend. The Ladies of P.A.A.W.S. took some time out to join the Filipino Student Association to volunteer to help with activities and act as trail guides.

"Happy Holidays" Cards

The Ladies of P.A.A.W.S. spent an evening at Jessica's house creating Happy Holidays cards. They will be delivered by members to a local senior citizens home before we leave for the holidays.

The P.A.A.W.S. Christmas Angels

In honor of the upcoming Christmas Holiday a particular Lady of P.A.A.W.S. found a family to adopt for the holidays. P.A.A.W.S. will be sponsoring several of this family's holiday gifts.

Parade of Lights

The Ladies of P.A.A.W.S. donated their Saturday night to march through downtown Tallahassee to carry banners in the annual parade of lights.
